If it wiped your path variable the following registry entry has the original one: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMXXXControlSession ManagerEnvironmentPath where XXX is ControlSet001 or ControlSet002 or Current ControlSet. see superuser.com search for 'deleted-path-environment-variable-how-to-restore'
It destroys PATH variable.
